In 2011 I received my Bachelor’s degree from The University of Vermont in Theatre and Public Communications.

 

I was then accepted as a DeVos intern to The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

 

Come the winter of 2011 Vermont called me back to experience life and run an after school theatre program at Charlotte Central School. During that time I worked as an administrator, a retail extraordinaire, para educator teacher, camp counselor, and actor- sometimes all at the same time!

 

A wide range of jobs, but the important part is that I absolutely fell in love with teaching. I wanted to know more.

 

Three and a half years later I set off for Emerson College in pursuit of a Masters degree in Theatre Education.

 

Of course there is much more to the story like how I met my husband John. However, I will save those stories for when we meet.
